DestiRoam works with brands, hotels, venues and other partners. This policy explains how we handle sponsored content so readers always know what they are reading.
Types of partner content
- Sponsored features: articles about a partner, written by our team and paid for by the partner.
- Guest posts: articles written by outside contributors and reviewed by our editor.
- Venue and stay spotlights: profiles of hotels, resorts or venues produced in partnership with them.
How we label it
Sponsored and partner content is clearly labelled as sponsored or as a guest post at the top of the article. Paid or partner links are marked with the appropriate link attributes, such as rel=”sponsored”, in line with Google’s guidelines.
Editorial standards still apply
- All partner content must be accurate, useful and relevant to our readers.
- We do not publish content we believe is misleading.
- We reserve the right to edit or decline any submission.
- We do not accept content related to gambling, adult content, cryptocurrency, unlicensed pharmaceuticals or anything illegal.
Independence
Partners do not pay for, review or approve our independent editorial guides. A partnership does not guarantee positive coverage elsewhere on the site.
